Licensure
Buffalo State Child Care Center, NYS License #43908, is licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (NYS OCFS).
Health and Safety Certifications
All full-time staff hold CPR and First Aid certifications, and many part-time staff maintain these credentials as well.
In addition, several staff members are MAT (Medical Administration Training) trained, which allows the staff to administer medication when needed.
Screening and Reporting
All BSCCC staff members are screened under NYS OCFS requirements. Individuals who have direct contact with children must submit documentation to the New York State Central Registry of Child Abuse and Maltreatment for clearance. All employees are mandated reporters of suspected child abuse or neglect and are required to follow state reporting procedures.
