At Buffalo State Child Care Center, providing a safe, nurturing, high-quality early learning environment is at the heart of everything we do.

Our center maintains professional standards through state license, national accreditation, staff training, and comprehensive health and safety practices.

Trained & Qualified Staff

Our teachers and staff are committed to providing children with safe, responsive, and high-quality care. Staff members participate in ongoing training and professional development to strengthen their knowledge of child development, health and safety, positive guidance, and developmentally appropriate practices.

A majority of our teachers are trained in CPR and First Aid, and several staff members are Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified, allowing us to safely support children who may require medication during the child care day.

Ongoing education helps our team continue to grow as early childhood professionals while providing children and families with knowledgeable, dependable, and compassionate care.

Safety, Screening & Accountability

The safety and well-being of every child in our care is a responsibility we take very seriously. Staff members are screened in accordance with New York State Office of Children and Family Services requirements. All of our employees complete required background checks and clearances before working in the program.

Our staff are also mandated reporters and are trained to recognize and respond appropriately to concerns involving abuse or maltreatment. In addition to required screenings, our center follows established procedures for supervision, emergency preparedness, health and sanitation, and maintaining safe learning environments. These practices help us provide families with a child care environment built on safety, responsibility, trust, and accountability.
