Board Committees
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee shall assist the Executive Director of the Center in developing the annual operating budget and in investigating and developing sources of revenue for the Center, and those additional tasks and duties required by the Chairperson or the Board of Directors.
Standards and Program Committee
The Standards and Program Committee, in consultation with the Executive Director and the Chairperson of the Board, shall conduct an annual review of the Bylaws and assist the director in meeting and establishing program goals for the Center, and those additional tasks and duties required by the Chairperson or the Board of Directors.
Personal Committee
The Personnel Committee shall assist the Executive Director in developing and reviewing the personnel manual and shall advise the Executive Director in responding to personnel issues as they arise, and those additional tasks and duties required by the Chairperson or the Board of Directors.
Governance Committee
The Governance Committee shall consist of at least three Directors, who shall be elected at the same time and in the same manner as the Officers and shall serve the same term of office. The Governance Committee shall assess the Board’s current composition and identify missing qualities and characteristics; draft a recruitment plan and continuously cultivate new prospects; develop job descriptions for Board members; plan and execute orientation for new Board members; continue to educate all Directors on their responsibilities; ensure that the Board regularly engages in self-assessment; develop a statement about the different roles (if any) or precedence of Vice-Chairpersons; and those additional tasks and duties required by the Chairperson or the Board of Directors.
